  • Players tee off on a hole. After the first drives are hit, teams are created based on where each player’s ball landed. The players with the two balls on the furthest left become one team, and the players with the two balls on the furthest right become the other team. In the case of odd numbers, such as with five players, the extra player is part of the right team for even-numbered holes and the left team for odd-numbered holes.
  • After the teams are selected, each player plays their own ball. The two best scores for each team form the total score. For example, if Team 1 scored a 5 and a 6, their final score would be 56. In the case of odd-numbered groups, the highest score is dropped. After that, the Vegas scoring system comes into play. If Team 1 scored 56 and Team 2 scored 45 on a hole, Team 2 would be awarded 11 points for that hole.
  • Natural birdies can flip the opponent team’s score. For example, if Team 2 has a score of 45 with 4 being the gross birdie, Team 1’s score is flipped from 56 to 65, and Team 2 would get 20 points.
  • Natural eagles flip the opponent’s score and also double the difference. For example, a score of 35, with 3 being the gross score, against a score of 56 would flip the score to 65. The 30 points would then be doubled to 60 points.


        Las Vegas Amigo:

          In this optional game, every player tees off in a specific order which is determined before the round and continues throughout the round. For example, if the tee-off order for the first hole is in a foursome as A, B, C, D, then for the second hole, it will be B, C, D, A, and so on. The teams are created in the same manner as regular Amigo; the two tee shots on the left are one team, and the two tee shots on the right are another team. However, in this variation, the teams created are for that hole only, and they keep switching at every hole.
