- The shoot out is a 3-day event intended for 19 players. In shoot out, the player with the highest score is eliminated after each hole, and the last man standing after 18-holes is declared the winner. The reason it takes so many days to conclude is that it involves so many players, all of whom complete every single hole before the next hole can be played.
- Apart from the tournament, another variation of shoot out, which is also a betting game, is very popular among groups of four. The matches are relatively small, with the players only having to play three holes to determine the winner.
