Fourball Stableford:

In this version, the two players of a team play each hole in individual Stableford, using their own full handicaps.

After each hole, the score of the player with the most number of points is counted as the team score for that hole. In the case of a tie, when both players score the same number of points, the score of the player who completed the hole first is recorded.

Since only one score is counted per hole, a player can also pick up their ball if they are certain that they cannot exceed their partner’s score.
