- In this game, the emphasis is on par saves. If a player misses a green and gets up and down, it is counted as a par save or a par “savie”. If a player gets a savie, they are given one point from all other players. If a player is in the sand around the green and makes a sand save, it is called a “sandy savie” and is worth two points.
- This game is often played with a gross score with players with similar handicaps (with a gap between six to eight strokes).
