- In this game, players select three clubs from their bag and can only use those three clubs for the entirety of the round. After completing the round, the number of strokes is tallied up, and the player or team with the lowest number of strokes wins the game.
- This game is usually played in threesomes or foursomes.
- While in most games, the putter is counted as one of the three clubs, but a much more common variation is for players to select three clubs and use the putter as well.
