- This is a wagering game for the putting greens. The 3-2 or three-two is a challenge from one player to another, which entails that the challenged player cannot avoid a three-putt.
- At any point during the game, a player can invoke the 3-2 bet or challenge. For example, if Player A is on the green and has a long putt, Player B might invoke the 3-2 bet if they believe that Player A will three-putt or worse. Then, if Player A three-putts or worse, they lose the bet, and the challenger (Player B) wins two units of the bet. However, if Player A gets down in two, they win three units of the bet.
- For example, if the bet was worth $1 and Player A lost, Player B would get $2 from Player A. However, if Player A won, they would get $3 from Player B.
Option:
In some games, the 3-2 bet is automatic, i.e., it is automatically in effect once it is invoked. In some cases, however, players have the choice to accept or decline the bet.
