- Umbriago is a betting game in which two teams of two compete for four different points on each hole which are awarded for four different actions, namely low ball, low score, closest to the pin in regulation, and a birdie or eagle.
- All in all, a total of 6 points is up for grabs on each hole: 1 point for a birdie or an eagle, 1 point for closest to pin, 2 points for the low ball, and 2 points for the low score.
- If a team manages to win all four categories, their points get doubled, i.e., instead of 6 points, the team gets 12 points.
- When it comes to the payout, it is decided among the group of players. The losing team can either pay the winning team money according to the point difference, or they can pay up according to the total points of the winning team.
