Quota is a great game for groups of all sizes. In Quota each player has a target points to reach. The quota is calculated by subtracting the player’s course handicap from the Quota target, usually 36 but configurable. Points are calculated based on scores per hole, aka Stableford but with slightly different values, though they can also be fully configured. Since the handicap is already deducted from the Quota, no strokes are given and scores are gross not net.
The players game scores are then represented as plus or minus with respect to the Quota target. For example, a player with a course handicap of 10 will start off the game at -26, while a 5 course-handicapper will start at -31.
The player with the most number of points wins the game and the pot.
